Experience Montana’s Ultimate Early Summer Adventure

Prairie dog hunting is rapidly becoming a favorite late spring / early summer activity. Prairie dog hunts offer wildlife enthusiasts the chance to enjoy beautiful private land habitats of Southeastern Montana and abundant shooting opportunities in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere.

Our prairie dog hunts typically begin June 1st – June 15th, making it an ideal time to enjoy warmer weather and combine hunting with scenic prairie landscapes. Prairie dogs provide fast-paced shooting action, making this an exciting option for both seasoned hunters and newcomers alike.

Hunts are conducted from our comfortable Turkey / Bird Watching / Prairie Dog camp in Southeastern Montana. Included in the hunt are all camp accommodations, home-cooked meals & bottled water, guiding services (shooting benches, chairs, shooting sticks, sandbags, pop ups for shade if needed), and transportation during the hunt. Please note that firearms, ammunition, gun cleaning equipment, any soft drinks, Gatorade, alcohol, etc. are not included! Alcohol may be enjoyed in moderation after the day's hunt has ended!

Prairie dog hunts are available in 3-day packages. Arrive the evening before and check out at 7AM the morning after the hunt. We can customize hunts for individuals, couples, or groups. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your hunt dates, with the balance due May 1st before your hunt.
